Program Overview

  • Formalized in 1964, the Brown University – Tougaloo College Partnership (BTP) is designed to enrich both campuses through student and faculty academic and cultural exchanges, collaborative research ventures, and administrative level engagements.

Program Benefits

  • The program operates as a small, independent high school on the Tougaloo College campus. Students in the program complete Mississippi graduation requirements for high school while working on college coursework. Students may earn an associate's degree or up to two years of credits towards a bachelor's degree. Full scholarships are available. Students in this program are also eligible to apply for the Brown University Pre-College Program. Application opens December 1 and financial aid deadline is in mid-March.
