The Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity has partnered with the Academic Pipeline Project to create an inventory of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, education, events and policies taking place at Brown University (i.e., Brown University Diversity & Inclusion Campus Inventory)

What is the Diversity & Inclusion Campus Inventory?

The Brown University Diversity & Inclusion Campus Inventory is a comprehensive online resource database that highlights the academic initiatives, events and activities, diversity education opportunities, and campus policies that support the institutional initiatives dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion at Brown. This website utilizes an interactive, national GIS mapping database containing academic pipeline programs housed at Brown using the THRIVE Components created by the Academic Pipeline Project.

Defining Diverse Groups

The database contains programs that will support diverse groups along their journey. We connect diverse diversity to social identity characteristics. These include characteristics related to race and ethnicity, sex, gender and gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, country of origin, language, disability, emotional health, socio-economic status, veteran status and affiliations that are based on cultural, political, religious or other identities.
